Sunay Akin Presents: the place where stopped in time

Saturday was awesome! We got the chance  to go to Istanbul Toy Museum with Volkan(my husband), at last! I don't know how Sunay Akın get all those toys together but I need to say Bravo! He made a perfect job! We'r just charmed. The museum was behind of Göztepe Train Station, when you saw those huge giraffes , you realise that you came very close to there. And that moment makes you  feel that you're coming across to it's magnetic field. Nasrettin Hodja welcomes you at the door. We're starting our tour from the top of the building which Sunay Akin had restore entire building later on. It's very hard to feel not to be under a spell really. Toys had been located to each room by their years, their countries and most importantly their concernings.
The room we loved the most was full of train toys, also it was decorated as a compartment. When you came into this room which is bespangled with flash lights and sounds, you're just feeling yourself in those years.
And the space room of course (I don't have any photos of this room, shame!) The first toys of the first space ship...first astronaut toys were displaying in the showcases with flash lights .!

Cumartesi günü çok keyfliydi! En sonunda bir fırsat yaratıp Volkan'la (kocacım) İstanbul Oyuncak Müzesi'ne gittik! Sunay Akın nasıl yapmışta o kadar oyuncağı bir araya getirmiş bilmiyorum ama bravo diyorum, müthiş bir iş çıkarmış!Kelimenin tam anlamıyla büyülendik ! Müze, Göztepe Tren İstasyonu'nun arkasında kalıyor, müzeye yaklaştığınızı önündeki dev zürafaları görünce anlıyorsunuz ve zaten o andan itibaren o dünyanın çekim alanına giriveriyorsunuz, kapıda da sizi Nasrettin Hoca karşılıyor. Sonradan restore edilen ve müzeye uygun son halinin verildiği binanın en üst katından başlıyoruz gezimize.Büyülenmemek elde değil gerçekten, Her odaya yıllara /ülkelere ve en önemlisi konulara göre oyuncaklar yerleştirilmiş.
En çok vaauuv dediğimiz oda tren oyuncaklarının olduğu ve kompartıman şeklinde döşenmiş odaydı.Işıklar ve seslerin desteklediği odaya girdiğinizde birden kendinizi o yıllarda hissediyorsunuz.
Ve tabii uzay odası! ilk uzay mekiğinin oyuncakları, yanıp sönen ışıkların içinde ilk astronot oyuncakları..
Daha o kadar çok detay var ki, ama hepsini paylaşırsam büyüsü bozulur diye korkuyorum.
